During a recent Florida RV purchase over the phone from Ohio, I became concerned over rescheduled pickup dates and decide to do what I should have done the second I attempted to purchase ANY RV. I Googled for a Certified Inspector and came upon Chris and his highly rated company, On the Road Again RV Inspection.  Chris responded quickly, setup a time, arrived and called asking for any areas of concern he should give extra attention to and did so with me right over the phone. A few hours later he called and gave a verbal snapshot. He sent a report soon after and I called him twice with questions about ease of repair on things and cost. He was quite helpful and gave me all I needed to know about the repairs and how important or not important or critical they were (some were safety critical!).  He even called me the next day or a couple days later to ask if I had thought of any other questions.  I  passed the report on to the owner and they quickly agreed to repair it all!. There was more than I imagined . But it was all taken care of thanks to the report from Chris. I would have dismissed or missed too many things and cost myself a ton of money and time later on.  So hiring an inspector is something I will never skip in the future. The small cost definitely covered the repairs on this unit 2 to 3 times over. I contacted Chris to perform an inspection of a previously-owned class A RV that we are planning to purchase.  I believe I initially contacted Chris via an email / request form from his business website.  Chris contacted me very shortly thereafter and was very helpful in helping me understand what services he performed, what he didn't perform, and what services seemed to make the most sense for our situation.

Having virtually no experience in purchasing or owning an RV, we really wanted someone we could trust to provide us with a solid review and report.  Not only was Chris able to perform a very thorough review, he was also quite accommodating as the dealers available dates changed for accessing the RV changed.  Chris called me shortly after he finished the review and gave us a good summary of his findings and which items were safety / life safety issues, verses lower priority items that were broken, worn out, and low priority items to be aware of such as stains or the like.  He was able to provide a very detailed report that same night and I was able to provide a summary to our dealer so they could address the issues.  The dealer was quite familiar with Chris, respected his work, and have not taken any exceptions to the items in his report.

Based upon my experience, I would highly recommend Chris, and use him if any of our future RV purchases occur in the Tampa area.  It seems a bit naive to make such a large purchase without having a professional review and we are quite happy that we hired Chris.

Chris did an outstanding job on an RV we were looking to purchase. The dealer found "nothing" in their pre-delivery inspection. Chris was able to point out various items and systems in need of attention/repair, saving us hundreds or potentially more, on a used unit that the dealer would only warranty for 30 days. Chris was available to schedule our inspection within a very reasonable amount of time. He was very responsive, knowledgeable, professional and thorough. A very detailed report was provided the same day, and he performed a full walk around to explain the results and answer questions. The report was easy to read and understand, with plenty of clear pictures and descriptions of his findings.

I contacted Chris and needed a quick inspection done on a used 5th wheel RV. He was able to fit me in within 48 hrs. All of the documents he uses are online so you can download the inspection report. We are buying a new RV and had Chris inspect it before we took delivery. He gave us a detailed report plus pictures showing us all the problems with the RV.  The rv dealer would have inspected it but the last word would have been ours.  We are new to RVing, we wouldn’t caught the problems.  Two were life threatening. We chose this Inspector based on reviews, general location to edthe MH, and  Credentials. Seeing that Chis is a Level 2 Inspector and a certified RV technician we believe he would provide a more technical approach. WE WERE RIGHT.
The report we received was comprehensive and informative.  Chris highlighted what he classifies as safety concerns and review each concern with us verbally as will as in the report. He followed up with the Fuild analysis report within days of the inspection and provided clear understanding of the analysis. I contacted Chris to schedule an inspection of an RV I was attempting to purchase in the Tampa area. Short story, the purchasing process turned into a clown show and the RV was not purchased. Based on the dealer's guidance, I scheduled two different appointments with Chris, but the RV was never available for inspection. This was a complete waste of his time and he missed out on other jobs he could have scheduled. Chris was professional, understanding and treated me fairly.
